COVID-19 impact: An ever-busy Highway deserted now

April 4, 2020

Mysuru/Mysore: On any given day and given time, thousands of vehicles traverse on this Highway connecting Mysuru and State Capital Bengaluru.

More than 25,000 vehicles ply on this stretch every day and during peak hours, it is bumper-to-bumper traffic.

Now the road is deserted, thanks to Coronavirus scare and the nation-wide lockdown. Even if one waits for an hour or so, there are hardly any vehicles.

A small invisible virus can turn a busiest road into a deserted or haunted stretch.
