CRICKET: Police XI wins R-Day Cup

Police XI team, led by City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta, which won the Republic Day Cup – 20-20 Cricket Match, jointly organised by District Administration and Police Department yesterday at Manasagangothri Cricket Stadium in city, seen with the winner’s trophy. 

Picture shows DC XI team, led by MCC Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde, which emerged runners-up. While Police XI scored 114 runs in 20 overs, DC XI failed to reach the target and scored only 102 runs in 20 overs for 6 wicket loss.
