Cricket tourney for visuallychallenged women on Feb. 11

“Niramaya Foundation has organised a cricket tournament for visually challenged women on Feb.11 at Manasagangothri Cricket Grounds,” said Niramaya Foundation Founder R. Rakshita at a press meet held at PatrakartaraBhavan in city, yesterday.

“Inauguration of the tournament will be held at 9 am and the valedictory at 4 pm. Three teams- Niramaya,  Bengaluru’s Deepa Academy and Sneha Deepa will participate in the cricket tourney. The tournament is being held to provide opportunity for visually challenged to exhibit their sporting skills, to instill confidence and to inspire others. The tourney is organised in association with Swachchanda and Suraksha Foundation,” Rakshita added.Gurupreet, Prashanth, Nutan and Kamal Tej were present at the press meet.
