Crime Branch Police raid Brindavan Sports Club

Two arrested for consuming liquor

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, on July 17, raided Brindavan Sports Club on KRS Road in Metagalli here and have arrested two persons for consuming liquor at the Club, as the Club has no permit to serve liquor and the Metagalli Police have registered a case against the Management of the Club for allowing people to consume liquor.

Police have arrested persons identified as Shivakumar of Kumbarakoppal and Manoj of Vidyaranyapuram in city besides seizing the liquor bottle.

CCB ACP C. Gopal supervised CCB Inspector Prasanna Kumar, ASI Mahadevappa, Purushotham and Shylesh in the raid, arrest and seizing operation.
