Crime Prevention Month: Bicycle rally to create awareness on Helpline No.112 by City Police tomorrow

As part of Crime Prevention Month, Mysuru City Police, in association with Mysuru Cyclists Association, Red FM, Colombia Asia Hospital, Trin Trin, Kreatement Events and The thought School, will take out a bicycle rally to create public awareness on the newly launched Helpline No.112- a Pan India single number-based Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) for citizens in times of emergencies, on five different routes in city tomorrow (Dec.19).

City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandragupta will flag off the rally in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the North Gate of Mysore Palace at 7 am. The five routes are;

Route-1: Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – Albert Victor Road – K.R. Circle – JLB Road – Metropole Circle – Hunsur Main Road – Yoganarasimha Swamy Temple Circle – Atal Bihari Vajpayee Circle – KRS Road-Ring Road Junction – S. Linganna Circle – Dasappa Circle – Babu Jagjivan Ram Circle – Deewans Road-Shringar Hotel Junction – Vinoba Road – P. Kalingarao Circle – Vasavi Circle – K.R. Circle and back to Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple.

Route-2: Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – Albert Victor Road – K.R. Circle – Sayyaji Rao Road – Sir M.V. Circle – Subhas Chandra Bose Circle – Abul Kalam Azad Circle – Nelson Mandela Road – Old Toll Gate – Kempegowda Circle – Dandi Maramma Temple Circle – Dr. Rajkumar Circle – Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Circle – Hyder Ali Circle – Sub-urban Bus Stand – Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle (Hardinge Circle) – Albert Victor Road and back to Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple.

Route-3: Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – Albert Victor Road – Jayachamaraja (JC) Wadiyar Circle – Mirza Ismail Road-Irani Junction – Somasundaram Circle – Rana Pratap Singh Circle – Sangolli Rayanna Circle-T. Junction – Savitribai Phule Circle – Ring Road – Devegowda Circle – Male Mahadeshwara Road – Shantaveri Gopalgowda Circle – Vasanth Mahal Road – Mysuru Zoo – JC Wadiyar Circle – Albert Victor Road and back to Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple.

Road – Gun House Circle – 100 ft Road – Ramaswamy Circle – Ekalavya Circle – Saraswathipuram Fire Station – Vishwamanva Double Road Junction – Bogadi Road – Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Circle – Akshay Bhandar – K.G. Koppal Railway Under-bridge – Ballal Circle – JLB Road – Ramavilas Road – K.R. Circle and back to Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple

Route-5: Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple – Albert Victor Road – Wrestling Arena – Ganapathi Sachchidananda Ashrama Circle – Ring Road Service Road – Srirampura Junction – Manandawadi Road – JLB Road – Ramaswamy Circle – 100 ft Road – Basaveshwara Circle – JC Wadiyar Circle and back to Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple.
