Crime Prevention Month: Lakshmipuram Police conduct public meeting

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Crime Prevention Month being observed this month, Lakshmipuram Police held a public meeting at Sri Rama Mandira in Krishnamurthypuram here on Tuesday last, where the Cops created awareness on prevention of crimes.

Speaking on the occasion, Krishnaraja (KR) Sub-Division ACP Poornachandra Tejaswi said that the public has to take necessary precautions to prevent chain-snatching besides asking them to know about the steps to be taken during chain-snatching      incidents.

Pointing out that girl students should be very careful while using social media, the ACP informed them about online cheating/ crimes besides providing information on Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) Helpline No. 112.

Lakshmipuram Inspector Venkatesh and staff were present during the public awareness meeting.
