Crime prevention month: Lakshmipuram Police, students take out rally

Mysuru: Hundreds of students of Lakshmipuram Government Pre-University College and Lakshmipuram Police took out a Crime Prevention Month Public Awareness Rally on main streets of their area coming under Lakshmipuram Police Station limits in city recently.

They took out rally on Jain Bhavan Road, Dewan’s Road, Chamaraja Double Road and ended at Ramaswamy Circle.

They distributed handbills spreading the message and sensitising the public to follow traffic rules, law and order besides to cross the road only after green signal, stop over-speeding and other traffic violations to prevent road mishaps.

Earlier, KR Sub-division ACP Dharmappa flagged off the rally from Mahadeshwara Temple on Narayana Shastri Road.  Lakshmipuram Inspector K.C. Raghu, ASI Gowrishankar, Police staff Kumar and others were present.
