Prize winners of Inter-Collegiate Youth Fest

Mysuru:  Jnanodaya PU College students have bagged five prizes at the recently conducted Inter-Collegiate District-level Youth Festival in commemoration of the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s speech in Chicago.

The competitions were organised by the District Administration and Zilla Panchayat (ZP) in association with Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES), Mysuru.

Following is the list of the winners: Arvind (II PU) – First prize in mridanga; Subhashitha (II PU) – 3rd in Pick-and-Speak; Ananya Jois (I PU) – 3rd in Classical Dance; Sameeksha (I PU) – 2nd in Karnatak Classical Singing; Mandara Adiga (II PU), V. Sameeksha (I PU), Akula Arvind (I PU), Srushti Kaushik (I PU), Ananya Jois (I PU) and Anaga (I PU) – 3rd prize in Group Folk Singing.
