Currency notes stolen from Sai Mandir Hundi

Mysuru: In a midnight burglary, miscreants who broke into Sai Mandir Temple in Ramakrishnanagar, have decamped with high currency notes of Rs.500 and Rs. 2,000 from the temple hundi.

The burglars who gained entry into the temple by forcing open the window grills, succeeded in breaking open the hundi. After taking out all the cash in the hundi, the burglars decamped with only Rs. 500 and Rs. 2,000 currency notes while strewing around all other lesser denomination currencies and coins on the floor, it is learnt.

The incident came to light, when the priests opened the temple this morning. Kuvempunagar Police who rushed to the sport, conducted mahazar and registered a case.
