Cyclothon on fuel conservation

Mysore/Mysuru: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) had organised ‘Saksham’ (Sanrakshan Kshamta Mahotsav), a campaign organised to sensitise public about conservation and efficient use of petroleum products by conducting a cyclothon this morning.

Also, Devaraja Traffic Police created awareness on traffic rules on the occasion. About 150 cyclists took part in the cyclothon, which was flagged off by Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sandesh Kumar in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple.

The cyclists carrying messages on fuel conservation and about traffic rules, passed through K.R. Circle, D. Devaraj Urs Road, JLB Road, Ramaswamy Circle, Chamaraja Double Road, Gun House Circle, Hardinge Circle and culminated at the starting point.

Bharat Petroleum LPG Territory Manager N. Narayana Swamy, Sales Manager Abhijith P. Vijay, Devaraja Traffic Inspector Muniyappa, Sub-Inspector Lepaksha, ASI Veerabhadrappa, staff Prakash, Vishwanath and others were present.
