D.D. Urs’ death anniversary

City-based Anveshana Seva Trust and Ursu Jagruti Academy Charitable Trust have jointly organised a programme at The Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road in city on June 6 at 10.30 am, to commemorate the 44th death anniversary of former Karnataka Chief Minister D. Devaraj Urs. MLC Ivan D’Souza will inaugurate. MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah will present ‘Dhwani Kotta Dhani’ award to six achievers from various fields. Former Minister M. Shivanna will preside.
Ursu Jagruti Academy Charitable Trust Vice-President H.A. Venkatesh and Anveshana Seva Trust President Chutuku Yugacharya Dr. MGR Urs will speak about D.D. Urs. Trust Founder Arya Amarnath Raje Urs will offer floral tributes to the portrait of D. Devaraj Urs. H.D. Kote Ursu Sangha President HMT Lingaraje Urs and Mines & Geology Department retd. Joint Director Srinivasa Bahadur will be the chief guests.
