Danger lurks on ORR Service Road near Bogadi Signal

August 5, 2022

A portion of the Service Road, about 2 kms from Bogadi Signal towards Nanjangud Main Road, has caved-in and is posing danger to the public, especially motorists during dark hours.

A morning walker, who sent a few photographs to Star of Mysore this morning, said that the caved-in portion is widening day-by-day and sooner or later, the stretch of the Service Road will be cut off for public use with incessant rains. It is not known whether the portion of the road was dug up to construct a manhole or it caved-in due to rains. Also, some of the streetlight poles on the same stretch are slanting dangerously. Authorities concerned are urged to rectify them immediately.
