DC visits Maharani’s College, interacts with students, staff

Mysore/Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri visited Maharani’s Arts and Science College for Women and inspected arrangements made in the College on the first day of re-opening of all UG andPG Colleges across the State since yesterday.

She went directly to the College and interacted with final year students and teaching staff and also sought a report on COVID-19 test done for students, teaching and non-teaching staff. The DC discussed with students from rural areas regarding public transport and the condition at hostels. Information about sanitisation of wooden furniture in all classrooms and teaching equipment was also collected.

She asked teachers to tell students to compulsorily undergo free RT-PCR test being                     conducted at many places including the College premises,     to wear mask and maintain social distance.
