Deadline for Yeshasvini registration extended till Aug. 31

Mysuru: The deadline to register for Yeshasvini Health Scheme for members of Farmer Co-operative Societies and Urban Co-operative Societies has been extended till Aug. 31, according to the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies Dr. G. Umesh.

Members of functional Co-operative Societies and Banks, Sthree Shakti Groups and Transgenders can register under the scheme and avail the health benefits.

The main applicant can name all eligible members of his/her family and get them registered for the health scheme.

There will be 15 percent concession in premium if five or more members of the family get registered under Yeshasvini Scheme.

The registered members can avail surgery benefits for a period of one year from June 1 to May 31.

The Yeshasvini Health Scheme was introduced in Urban Co-operative Bodies in the year 2014-15, with each member having to pay Rs. 710 (Rs. 110 for SC/ST candidates).

The Yeshasvini Trust has a network of more than 650 hospitals across the State and the beneficiaries are entitled to cashless treatment.
