January 8, 2021

Mysuru: The bodies of an elderly man and his son, who had gone missing a few days ago, were found in a decomposed state in Mysuru South Police limits this afternoon. While the body of the man was found in a bush near Mandakalli, the body of his son was found at a secluded place near APMC on Nanjangud road.

According to preliminary reports, the two were bludgeoned to death with lethal weapons a couple of days ago and their bodies thrown at different spots by miscreants who are yet to be identified as yet. The Police suspect that the two may have been killed over a financial dispute.

Mysuru South Police, who rushed to the spots, shifted the bodies to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem, it is learnt. More details are awaited.
