Deeds speak louder than words

October 3, 2018

Sir,

Our Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner, K.H. Jagadeesha, must be complimented for his honest and practical approach towards the overall development of Mysuru.

On Sept. 26, through the people-friendly WhatsApp Us column of Star of Mysore, I had brought to the notice of the Commissioner regarding the uneven footpath in front of Marimallappa High School (see pic. left) which was causing hardship to school children and pedestrians.

The very next day after SOM carried the news, the Commissioner took personal interest and ensured that the footpath was set right (see pic. right).

Mysuru needs such officers who can act swiftly and at the same time drives his office staff to provide prompt service.
