Dental clinics shut till Mar. 31

Bengaluru / Mysuru: The State Government, which is taking all precautions to prevent spread of COVID-19, has now issued an order asking all dental clinics across the State to close down till Mar. 31.

This was disclosed to the media by Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar. 

ACs banned at restaurants

As COVID-19 could spread through Air Conditioners (AC), ACs at all restaurants will be banned, he said and urged the public to go to hospitals only if necessary.

Meanwhile, Dr. Raghunath, Treasurer  of IDA, Mysore Branch, speaking to SOM, said that IDA Karnataka has asked all its members to immediately suspend all non-essential and elective dental procedures till Mar. 31.

MMC&RI Dean and Director Dr. C.P. Nanjaraj told SOM that the Institute has not received any order so far from the Government on suspending dental services.
