Domestic LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs. 29

June 7, 2026

The Central Government has hiked the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs. 29 making it the second increase in 3 months since start of US-Iran war.

In Mysuru, the 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has increased to Rs. 946.50 from Rs. 917.50 with effect from today.

It may be noted that the price of LPG cylinder was increased by Rs. 60 on Mar. 7 earlier this year owing to disruption in global energy supplies and increase in international fuel prices as a result of West Asia conflict.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, Mehul J. Patel, State President, LPG Distributors Association of India, said that today’s hike would not benefit dealers in any way and added that Central Government had increased LPG prices owing to the increase in global oil prices.
