Mysuru:  Veteran legal luminary Dr. C.K.N. Raja was conferred ‘Amaravani’ award at a programme organised by Rotary Club of Mysore Midtown in memory of Prof. M.G. Nanjundaradhya at Rotary Bhavan on JLB Road here on Wednesday.

Speaking after receiving the award, Dr. C.K.N. Raja said that he has got this prestigious award because of his previous birth’s virtue. Crediting the award to Siddaramappa Guruji, he said that it was Guruji who guided him in his school days by educating him on the lives of great personalities and leaders.

Political Science faculty Prof. H.M. Rajashekar, in his address, expressed concern over politicians dividing the country on caste and creed lines for the sake of votes.

The award Instituter Dr. M.N. Bheemesh, Rotary Club of Mysore Midtown President L.M. Manojkumar, Secretary Mohammad Sulaiman Sait and others were present.
