Mysore/Mysuru: Yashaswini Mahila Jagruthi Parishat, Mysuru, has organised a programme to celebrate 85th birthday of litterateur and 78th Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana President Dr. C.P. Krishna Kumar (CPK) at Institution of Engineers Auditorium on JLB Road in city on Apr. 8 at 10.30 am.

Karnataka Sahitya Academy former Chairman Dr. Aravinda Malagatti will inaugurate while Centre of Excellence for Studies in Classical Kannada (CESCK) Project Director Dr. N.M. Talwar will speak on Dr. CPK.  Ursu Mandali President H.M.T. Lingaraje Urs will preside.

Chutuku Yugacharya Dr. M.G.R. Urs will launch the Parishat which is formed for the wellness and empowerment of women.

Mysuru District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal, Mysuru Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) President K.B.
