Dr. J. Kamala Raman, simplicity personified

September 27, 2022

Sir,

It is really saddening to learn the demise of Dr. J. Kamala Raman (SOM dated Sept.19). She was known for her simplicity,  a very nice human being and a down to earth person. She was one of the most popular personalities and rendered yeoman service to people of Mysuru in various capacities.

She was the Founder of Raman Memorial Hospital, Krishnamurthypuram and served as a Trustee of Mysore Taluk Women’s Multipurpose Co-operative Society,  President and Trustee of Vanitha Sadana Educational Institution, also served as Trustee of CITB.

May her noble soul rest in everlasting peace.
