Dr. K.N. Swamy (66), Professor and HoD of Physiology at Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Bellur Cross in Nagamangala taluk and a resident of Gayathripuram in city, passed away on Dec. 29 at AIMS.

Founder-President of Pragathi Trust, Mysuru, he leaves behind his wife Geetha Devi, daughters Dr. Neema and Priya, son-in-law, granddaughter and a host of relatives and friends.

His body was donated to AIMS as per his wish, according to family sources.
