Govinda Kulakarni

Govinda Kulakarni (55), a lecturer at Government College in Varuna and a resident of Alanahalli on Bannur Road passed away this morning in city.

Kulakarni’s mother had passed away 11 days ago and he, along with family members were proceeding to Srirangapatna to perform the rituals. But when the car was proceeding about 100 mts distance from his house, Kulakarni suffered a massive heart attack and breathed his last in the car.

He leaves behind his wife, one daughter, one son and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 5 pm today, according to family sources.
