Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has named his son Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah as Chairman of Varuna Vidhana Sabha Kshetra Vasathi Yojanegala Jagruthi Samithi, according to the orders issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of Karnataka C.S. Shivakumaraswamy.

The appointment of Dr. Yathindra has been made owing to busy schedule of CM Siddharamaiah, who is unable to look into the affairs of the Committee.

Dr. Yathindra has been looking into the affairs at the Varuna Assembly constituency since the demise of Rakesh                    Siddharamaiah. He was also seen taking active part during the campaigns of the recently concluded APMC, Gundlupet and Chamarajanagar by-polls.
