Mysuru: As part of Dasara Natakostava programme, Sri Ranga Vedike, Madhuvanahalli, Kollegal taluk, staged the drama ‘Sharana Vybhava’ at J.H. Patel auditorium in Chamarajanagara recently.

Following artistes were part of the play: Dr. N.N. Prahallada (Allama Prabhu), Rajanna Bagali (Basaveshwara), Janatha Bazar Ramaiah (Haralaiah), Kanthamani (Akkamahadevi and Kalyani), Octogenarian Kupya Venkataramu (Madhuarasa) and Jayappa, Mallanna, Govinda Naidu and C Mahadeva (Sharanarugalu).

The music was scored by Kiragasoor Rajappa, tabla support by Rangaswamy, violin by Gopal, dress and make-up by C. Nagaraj and Shivanna Hemaragala.

The drama was directed by Janatha Bazar Ramaiah and Rangaswamy of Mysuru city.
