K.R. Traffic Police seize vehicle

Mysore/Mysuru: A truck, proceeding towards Nanjangud from Mysuru, crashed into a road median near Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram on the busy Mysuru-Nanjangud Road in the early hours of today. The vehicle and the median have been badly damaged in the incident.

Soon after the incident, the truck driver has fled from the spot, leaving the vehicle behind. 

K.R. Traffic Inspector Manjunath told SOM that the truck has been seized and is towed to the Police Station. As the driver had fled from the spot soon after the accident, efforts are being made to trace the owner of the truck, 

Inspector Manjunath said and added that the truck would be released only after the truck owner gets the road median repaired.
