DYES Mysuru women win State-level Senior Hockey

The women’s hockey team of the Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports (DYES), Mysuru, overpowered Sports Authority of India (SAI), Madikeri, 2-0 in the final to win the State-level Senior Women’s Hockey Tournament in Mysuru at Chamundi Vihar Hockey Grounds recently.

In the Junior (U-19) category, SAI, Madikeri, won the title, while DYES Mysuru finished runner-up.

Player of the Tournament: S.P. Kruthika (DYES Mysuru); Best Goal-Keeper: G.B. Shravya (DYES Mysuru); Best Defender: Sowmyashree (DYES Mysuru); Best Mid-fielder: P.A. Pavithra (SAI, Madikeri); Best Forward: Vidya (SAI, Madikeri).
