Mysuru: The toppers from Electronics and Communication (E&C) branch of NIE were felicitated by the alumni during their 17th Annual meet at NIE here recently.
The old students of NIE, who graduated from Electronics and Communication branch in the year 1975, organised the meet.
C.N. Pallavi and S. Vaishnavi Nayak were felicitated for their academic excellence with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively during the meet.
E&C toppers Pallavi and Vaishnavi are seen with the alumni of E&C (1975 batch) during the Annual Meet at NIE recently.
Prof. Rohini Nagapadma, Head, E&C Department presided over the function.
Books worth Rs. 1,300 were also donated by the alumni to the E&C Department, according to a press release from Er. S.N. Krishna Rao, Chief Scientist, CFTRI (Retd.)
