Eid Meelad-un-Nabi celebrations

Mysuru: Various organisations will be celebrating Eid Meelad-un-Nabi in city on Nov. 9 midnight and on Nov. 10 in city.

Astane Khwaja Darul Uloom: Astane Khwaja Darul Uloom Hazarath Tippu Sultan Faizan Gharibun Nawaz at Ghousianagar in city will be celebrating Eid Meelad-un-Nabi and 270th Birth anniversary of Hazarath Tipu Sultan at its premises in Ghousianagar on Nov. 10 at 7 am.

The event will be held under the Chairmanship of Hazarath Khawja Burahuddin Khan Chisty and under the supervision of Hazarath Khwaja Sofi Azeem Ali Chisty. The programme will begin with recital of verses from the Holy Quran from Ulmas and Arabic students. After Fatha Khawani, Darul-o-Salam will be conducted and later Tabruk (Mass Feeding). After 10 am Tippu Jayanti will be celebrated.

Sufi Saint Hazarath Dr. Khalid Jeelani Kasarmud, Kwaja Balar Ali Sha Chisty, Sri Basavalinga Swamiji, Tipu Town, Mysuru, Hazarath Moulana Mufti Mohd. Mustaq Ahmed Makboolie, Khateeb Dargahi Mosque, Sawday Road, Mysuru, Arif Mehkri, Chairman, Mysuru Dist. Wakf Board Advisory Committee, Azeez Ulla, social worker, Hazarath Jane Alam Sha Khadree, Gyan Prakash Swamiji, Moulana Abdul Salam Razvi, Mujahid Ulla Razvi and others will grace the occasion. At Masjid-e-Azam: The Management Committee of Masjid-e-Azam Markaz Ahle Sunnath-wo-Jamath on Ashoka Road will be celebrating Eid-Meelad-Un-Nabi on Nov. 9 from 11 pm till 5 am the next day. 

Mehfil Nath Khawani will be held on the occasion.  Also, Esha Prayers will be offered at 10 pm on Nov. 10 and 7.45 pm on Nov. 11. For details, contact Mob: 95356-36179 or 80509-74718.

Halai Memon Jamath: Halai Memon Jamath on Vinoba Road in Shivarampet, will be celebrating Eid Meelad-un-Nabi for two days on Nov. 10 and 11 at Rifha Function Hall on Ashoka Road West Cross in Lashkar Mohalla.

This will be followed by Fatheha Khani and Tabruk (Mass Feeding) at 6.30 pm, according to Mansoor Sait, President of Halai Memon Jamath. For details, contact Mob: 90369-69069.

Syed Asan-e-Rasool Sha Khadri Darga Shariff: Jashne Eid Meelad Un Nabi and Hazarath Syed Asan-e-Rasool Sha Khadri and K.V. Syed Ali Bukhari Sajjada Nashin Darga Sandal Urus Shariff will be celebrated on Nov. 12 at 5 pm at Hazarath Syed Asan-e-Rasool Sha Khadri’s Darga Shariff at Kuduregundi in Hassan. 

The programme will begin with Fatheha Khani followed by Mehfil Nath Khani at 8.30 pm. Islamic Cleric Hazarath Sofi Mohd. Zubair Pasha of Adhoni in Andhra Pradesh will speak on Azamath Ahulia Allah. Mehfil Sama Khani (Qawali) will be held later till next day morning. 

Transportation has been arranged from Hassan KSRTC Bus Stand to Kuduregundi at 7.30 am to 4 pm and special private buses are also arranged. For details, contact Mob: 94484-13455 or 94488-85451.
