Eight shops burgled at APMC Yard

July 3, 2019

Mysuru: Contrary to the claims of round-the-clock security at APMC Yard at Bandipalya, four shops were burgled last night and attempts were made to loot four other shops. The incident has worried the trading community.

Shutters have been pried open in the four shops on Bandipalya Second Cross  B-Block and the incident came to light this morning when traders came to the shops as per their daily routine.

Traders said that the heavy iron shutters have been opened by force and they have suspected the involvement of a couple of criminals as it is not possible for two or three persons to do the task.

Regarding the cash and valuables stolen, traders said that cash was stolen from all the four shops.

Mysuru South Police have registered a case in this regard.
