Elderly man killed as KSRTC bus hits

Mysore/Mysuru: A 65-year-old man, who was hit by a KSRTC City Bus, has succumbed to injuries at the hospital yesterday.

The deceased is Vishwanath, a retired University of Mysore employee and a resident of Hullina Beedhi in K.R. Mohalla.

Yesterday at about 5 pm, Vishwanath was crossing the road near Siddappa Square, when a City Bus belonging to Sathagalli Bus Depot, rammed into him injuring him seriously.

Though Vishwanath was rushed to K.R. Hospital, he is said to have succumbed to injuries.

K.R. Traffic Police Station  Inspector Manjunath, who has registered a case in this regard, has seized the bus and is investigating.
