Elderly man, youth go missing

Mysuru:  In separate incidents, an elderly man and youth have been reported missing from city.

The elderly man is 85-year-old Shivalingaiah, a resident of Lidkar Colony in Rajiv Nagar here, according to a complaint lodged by his son at Udayagiri Police Station on Mar.19.

Shivalingaiah, who was said to be mentally retarded, left his house on the afternoon of Mar.19 saying that he was going out to have a shave. But he has not returned home since then, the complaint said. Anyone coming across the said missing person may contact Mob: 99007-19845.

Usma Banu, 17, grand-daughter of Razia Banu and a resident of Ambedkar Nagar is Sathagalli here, is said to be missing since Mar.11, according to a complaint lodged by her parents with Mysuru South Police Station.

The missing girl is said to be 5.1 feet tall, brownish complexion with a medium build and was wearing brown trousers with orange coloured top. She can speak Kannada and Urdu. Any information about the girl may be conveyed to Ph: 0821-2520040 or 2444800 or 94808-05045.
