Woman complains of burglary

Mysuru: An elderly woman from Gayatripuram has lodged a complaint with Nazarbad Police alleging that her house was burgled last night.

Leelavathi, 70, a resident of 17th Cross, Gayatripuram, in her complaint this morning, said that she slept in her relative’s house located close by, last night after locking her house. But she found her house burgled this morning, with miscreants entering the house after forcing open the back door. The burglars have decamped with 70 gms of gold jewellery and other articles kept in an almirah, the complaint said.

The jurisdictional Nazarbad Police visited the spot.
