Elderly woman killed in bike accident

Mysore/Mysuru: A 76-year-old woman was killed when a bike hit her on Mahadevapura Road in city. The deceased has been identified as Venkatamma, a resident of Mahadevapura village. She was walking on Mahadevapura Road, when Akash, who was riding a Bajaj Pulsar bike (KA-55-EB-3930) hit her resulting in Venkatamma sustaining serious injuries.

She was rushed to a hospital where first-aid was provided and was being shifted to K.R. Hospital, where she breathed her last mid way. K.R. Traffic Police have registered a case.
