Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have lifted gold ornaments from the vanity bag of a woman, who was climbing a bus at the City Bus Stand on Sept. 28.

The woman, who lost her gold jewellery, is 26-year-old T.S. Pavithra, a resident of Dodda Kaatur village in the taluk.

Pavithra, who boarded a bus at the City Bus Stand to go to her village, noticed the zip of her vanity bag open when she wanted to buy a ticket. On examining her vanity bag, she found a small purse with gold ornaments weighing 29.5 grams kept inside the purse missing.

A case has been registered at Devaraja Police Station.
