Elderly woman relieved of gold chain

Mysuru: A miscreant pushed an elderly lady from behind and snatched her gold chain on Ramanuja Road here on Thursday night.

The victim is M.P. Kamala, a retired teacher, wife of M.S. Suresh Kumar and a resident of Ramanuja Road in city.

Kamala, who had been to a nearby temple along with her grandson was returning home at about 8.30 pm, when the miscreant pushed her from behind and snatched the 80 grams gold chain from Kamala when she fell on the ground and fled from the spot, according to the complaint lodged by Kamala’s son-in-law N. Srikanth. 

K.R. Police, who have registered a case in this regard, have launched a hunt to nab the accused.
