Elected as Directors

Mysuru: The following were elected unopposed to 14 out of the 15 seats in the Board of Directors of Veterinary Department Employees Housing Co-operative Society, in the elections held at the Government Employees Association Office on Dhanvantri road here yesterday:

R. Balakrishna, N. Nagendra, K.P. Naganna, D. Mohan, G. Girish, K.S. Latha, Shylaja, Dr. S.C. Suresh, Dr. Nagaraju, Veerabhadraiah, B.N. Basavaraj, S. Suresh, Shashidhar and Hemanthkumar.

However, voting took place to one ST reserved seat as two candidates had contested. In the polls, Kollegal Veterinary Officer D.B. Jogappa won by defeating his opponent S. Chandru by a margin of 31 votes.
