Election watch: City Police Commissioner briefs Police personnel

Mysuru: City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subramanyeswara Rao has directed the Probationary Police and other officials to take care to see that no untoward incidents occur during the Assembly polls on May 12.

Addressing a meeting including 36 Probationary DySPs, 300 Probationary SIs, higher officials and Sub-Inspectors of all the Police Stations in the City, at the Karnataka Police Academy (KPA) auditorium, here yesterday, he asked them to make the election process a success by ensuring proper protection.

He warned the officers to be extra careful on the day of election and counting to see that no untoward incidents occur.

KPA Deputy Director Vamshi Krishna, DCPs N. Vishnuvardhana, Mahaninga B. Nandagavi and B.V. Kittur, ACPs Muralidhar, C. Gopal and Dharmappa were present at the meeting.
