Embryo Milana 2022 – connecting India’s embryologists held in city

 Mysuru: Embryo Milana-2022, an ‘All India Budding Embryologists’ meet was held in city this morning. The event was the first ever of its kind in India. It is a platform where senior embryologists and budding embryologists meet to share their knowledge, new innovations and experiences.

The meet was held in the campus of International Institute of Assisted Reproductive Technology and Research Centre on Nanjangud Road and the Centre is headed by Dr. Shilpa Santhrupth and Dr. M.S. Srinivas.

 The meet was inaugurated by Dr. S.S Malini chairperson Department of Genetics and Genomics, University of Mysore, Dr. Chaitra Narayan, Syndicate member, University of Mysore (UoM), Dr. Divyashree, fertility specialist, Genea Fertility Centre, Bengaluru and Swaminathan Dakshinamurthy, senior embryologist, Santhathi IVF Centre, Mangaluru.

 Various inter-college competitions like poster and paper presentation, quiz and pick and speak were held and moderated by various eminent experts such as Dr. Jayshree, unit head, Department of OBG, JSS Hospital, Dr. Manohar, Department of OBG, MIMS, Mandya and Dr. Ravi Kumar, professor, Department of Life Sciences, Bangalore University.

 More than 250 embryologists from all over India attended the meet and took part with zeal and shared their knowledge and clinical experiences.

The organising committee included   senior embryologists Sanket Dhumal Sathya, Hemant Kumar, T.S. Abhishek and Mir Sameem Raza. The event was able to achieve its mission of connecting the embryologists   all over India.
