Engineering student commits suicide

Nanjangud: A 24-year-old Engineering student has committed suicide by hanging self at the room of his house in Nanjangud Rural Police limits last evening.

The deceased is Bhuvan, son of Basappa, an agriculturist and Preethi, a teacher, residents of Basavapatha Road, Nanjangud. 

The deceased was pursuing his second year BE course at a private Engineering College at Thandavapura in Nanjangud taluk and was to attend the exams from tomorrow.

Nanjangud Rural Police conducted mahazar, registered a case and have shifted the body to Nanjangud Government Hospital for post-mortem.

The reason for Bhuvan to take the extreme step is yet  to be known.
