Engineering student found dead

Mysore/Mysuru: A 20-year-old girl student, who was pursuing her third year Computer Science Engineering course at a city college, was found dead at the room of her house in Bogadi this morning.

The deceased is Varshika, daughter of Dr. Mahesh. It is learnt that Varshika, who had an exam today, was studying till late night yesterday and slept after having her dinner.

This morning, when her father went to her room to wake her up, he found her dead with froth in her mouth and nose. 

Saraswathipuram Inspector Thimmaraju and staff, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of the death.

Last rites will be held at Pampinahosahalli near Palahalli in Srirangapatna taluk later in the day.
