KSRTC holds Road Safety Month Programme

Mysore/Mysuru: Regional Transport Officer (RTO) L. Deepak called upon KSRTC drivers to follow road traffic rules and drive safely.

He was speaking as the chief guest at a Road Safety Month programme organised by KSRTC Mysuru Rural Division at Depot-3 in Bannimantap here on Monday.

Pointing out that apart from following road traffic rules, the drivers should also behave in a courteous manner with passengers, Deepak said that it is also important for the drivers to maintain good health. He further said that drivers must understand that the safety of passengers lies with them. 

Earlier, DCP Dr. A.N. Prakash Gowda inaugurated the programme. KSRTC Rural Divisional Controller K.H. Srinivas, Divisional Traffic Officer S.S. Dasharath,Technical Officer Mahadevappa, Labour Welfare Officer K.K. Somashekar and others were present.
