The Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy has invited entries from authors of music and dance books for awarding ‘Best Book’ prize (2020-21). Authors of Karnatak, Hindustani, Sugama Sangeetha, Katha-Keertana, Gamaka music and dance books, whose works were first published between January and December 2019 can send entries. The works should not be text books or edited ones and must be self-written. Interested authors can send their entries along with three copies of their works to the Registrar, Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy, Kannada Bhavan, J.C. Road, Bengaluru, before Sept. 30. The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Office of Kannada and Culture Department Asst. Director in all districts or can be downloaded from the Academy’s website: https://karnatakasangeetanrityaacademy.com, according to a press release from the Academy Registrar Banashankari V. Angadi.
