Environmental School Warden Programme

December 17, 2018

Mysuru:  Kautilya Vidyalaya and Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) will be launching an Environmental School Warden Programme  (ESWP) at Kautilya Vidyalaya in Dattagalli here tomorrow (Dec. 18) at 10 am.

MGP has suggested this novel programme to get school and college students involved in keeping Mysuru green and clean.

MGP volunteers had interacted at five schools (Kautilya Vidyalaya, Vijaya Vittala, Lions Sevaniketan, Mahajana Public and Shanthala Vidyapeetha) to develop this programme intended to tap the creative potential of children. It is hoped that self-motivated children acting as environmental wardens will succeed in increasing citizen responsibility to keep the city clean. During the launch, two young girls who have already taken up this task even before the start of this initiative will be declared as Ambassadors for this programme.
