EPF pensioners seek hike in pension

Mysuru: Over 50 members of All India Employee Provident Fund (EFP) pensioners Co-ordination Committee, staged a protest in front of DC’s office here yesterday morning urging the government to fulfil their pending demands.

The members sought a minimum pension of Rs. 7,500 coupled with Dearness Allowance with periodical change in Consumer Price Index. They also sought a comprehensive health plan for the pensioners.

Committee Members Jayaram, Rajendra, Gopal, Basavaraja and other were present.
