Ex-Corporator K.V. Mallesh quits JD(S)

January 24, 2024

Mysore/Mysuru: Janata Dal (Secular) leader and former Corporator K.V. Mallesh has tendered his resignation to the primary membership of the party. Mallesh had unsuccessfully contested the 2023 and 2018 Legislative Assembly elections on JD(S) ticket from Krishnaraja (KR) Constituency in the city.

In his detailed letter to JD(S) State President and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy, Mallesh has recalled his association with Janata Parivar and handling many responsibilities entrusted to him by the party. However, Mallesh has also blamed top level leaders and local leaders who had a secret pact, washing off their hands after giving ticket to him to contest the Assembly elections twice, only to push him to distress.
