Mysore/Mysuru: With the MUDA handing over control of several layouts beyond the Ring Road to Gram Panchayats, former Mayor B.L. Byrappa alleged that the MUDA has stopped registration of sites and issue of Khata transfer and other land records, which has put the public to a lot of hardship.

Addressing a press meet here recently, Byrappa said that land developers and site buyers seem to be at the receiving end as MUDA is not responding to them and so also the Gram Panchayats which are handed over control of Layouts by MUDA. As such, the Chief Minister should look into the issue and find a solution to the problem, he said.
