Mysore/Mysuru: Former Congress MLA Vasu who has been served a notice from Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee’s (KPCC) Disciplinary Committee for his alleged anti-party activities has stated to be unfazed over the notice.
Vasu who spoke to the media persons yesterday said that “Anybody can complain to the High Command, but everybody is aware of the background of the persons who have complained against me. However, I am not afraid of the notice served on the basis of such persons complaint.”
Saying that ‘Sose Banda Nantara Atthege Pramukhyate Kadime Aguttade’ (With the entry of daughter-in-law into a family, the mother-in-law will lose her importance), Vasu said “After the entry of others into the party, even my situation is the same. I have been with the party for several decades and will welcome whatever decision the Congress higher-ups will take.”
“I haven’t gone through the notice so far, but will give a fitting reply in the coming days. I am being targeted since past and will not fear over such notices. I will continue doing social activities,” added Vasu.
