Sports Quiz in memory of Col. P.C. Ganapathy

Excel Public School, Mysuru, will be hosting the Col. P.C. Ganapathy Memorial Sports Quiz-2026 on  Aug. 1, bringing together students from schools across Mysuru and neighbouring districts to compete in a prestigious sports knowledge competition.

The quiz is open to students of Classes VI to IX and aims to encourage young minds to develop a deeper understanding of sports, sporting legends, achievements, records and current affairs. The event is curated by Nexus, an organisation known for conducting large-scale educational quiz.

The competition will be conducted in two stages — Written Preliminary Round,  Grand Finale featuring the top-performing teams. Participants will compete for cash prizes and rewards worth Rs. 50,000.

The event is being organised in memory of Col. P.C. Ganapathy, whose legacy of discipline, leadership and commitment to excellence continues to inspire generations of students and sports enthusiasts.

Schools from Mysuru and surrounding regions may participate in the event to be held at Excel Public School, Koorgalli Industrial Area, Belavadi Post, Mysuru, from 8.45 am.
