Mysuru: Gunesh Yashavantha Kumar, a student of JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar, has brought laurels through his outstanding performance at the State Non-Medalist Invitational Swim Meet – 2026, held at Marlin Aquatic Centre in Mysuru recently.  

Representing MASP Aquatic Club in Group-2, Gunesh displayed exceptional speed, skill and determination, securing top positions in multiple events. He won gold in 50 mts freestyle with a timing of 26.75 seconds, silver medal in 50 mts butterfly with a timing of 30.25 seconds and bronze in 50 mts  breaststroke with a timing of 34.62 seconds.
